The Mongolian Circus Development Centre started World Circus in Mongolia in 2013. It has run every spring since, and has put more than 240,000 people in the seats.
Its founder, N. Erdene, judges international circus competitions and books award-winning acts straight from the world festivals onto a Mongolian stage. The programme is rebuilt from scratch each year.
In 2026 the company toured outside the capital for the first time, playing two dates in Darkhan. The Ulaanbaatar run is staged at ASA Circus.
