The 2027 season

Two weekends in Ulaanbaatar, then two dates in Darkhan. Each performance runs 150 minutes.

Eight disciplines, one ring

The programme is rebuilt from scratch every year. These disciplines return; the acts never do.

The highest point of the night. Performers work under the dome without a net.

Acrobatics02

Acrobatics

Paired and group work: human towers, throws and catches.

Balance03

Balance

Hand balancing and support work, timed to the second.

Juggling04

Juggling

Five, six, seven objects in the air at once, cued to the score.

Tightrope05

Tightrope

A wire strung above the ring, and the quietest minutes of the night.

Gymnastics06

Gymnastics

Competitive gymnastics training, rebuilt for the ring.

Illusion07

Illusion

Large-scale illusion, performed in the round with the audience on all sides.

Trained animals08

Trained animals

Tigers, poodles and cats. In 2026 Italy's Bruno Toni brought eleven big cats.

History

Thirteen years

Since the first international co-production in 2013, the project has grown every year.

  1. 2013

    The first international circus co-production staged in Mongolia.

  2. 2015

    Lions appeared on a Mongolian stage for the first time.

  3. 2024

    The run moved to Steppe Arena, doubling the house.

  4. 2025

    Fifteen countries took part, and David Larible played Mongolia for the first time.

  5. 2026

    Back at ASA Circus, and on the road to Darkhan for the first regional dates.
